On February 21st at 5 PM CET, we hosted a 30-minute LinkedIn Live event to demonstrate Glassity's FinOps-driven cloud optimization platform in action. The Presenters

Jose Ernesto Suarez Font, CEO and CTO of Glassity, led the technical demonstration. Jose Ernesto brings over 25 years of experience in systems engineering. He previously served as CIO and CTO for Spanish logistics and civil engineering firms, and worked as a cloud infrastructure architect and FinOps strategist at the United Nations International Computing Centre (UN ICC), where he managed large-scale cloud infrastructure for international organizations. His background in both enterprise IT operations and cloud-native architecture shaped the design philosophy behind Glassity -- a platform built by someone who has lived the pain of managing cloud costs at scale.

Michael Barrette, Business Developer at Glassity, co-hosted the session and provided context on how the platform fits into broader FinOps and cloud cost management strategies. Michael previously served as an AWS Executive Territory Cloud Consultant, specializing in cloud solutions and enterprise engagement. His firsthand knowledge of AWS pricing models, common overspending patterns, and what separates effective cost optimization from dashboard theater bridges the gap between technical capability and business value.
